Please read it as its vital information.

Whoo, i've missed a bit.
Well, I've downloaded all your entries and judging will start on the 1st of Feburary.
You can see the open and the strict entries as of today (19/1/2008) here:

<<OPEN ENTRIES>> http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NTYRETO7

PLEASE: download the pack if you can and make sure that I have the correct entry for you. If you have dial up or are otherwise unable to download the file contact me and i'll show you what I have. It should be easy for you to find your submission, since I have sorted them by author, so make sure you check to make sure your's is there. Well, it seems that enthusiasm for this really has died down.

I'll definataly judge it at the end of the month, but looks like i'll be doing it by myself.

OPEN:
Halo14 has missing grf files
Air A. Boey: was made in "newer" version than the current 6.0r3
Wickedgenius: was made in "newer" version than the current 6.0r3

STRICT:
rainwatcher: open screen is a savegame.. and named wrong opentitle.sav, opntitle.dat
Xander: missing grf files

Wow, thanks for that, I thought that everyone had forgotten about this >_>

Thanks for those problems you see. I'll look into it now. However, do you have the latest revision of the Coop GRF pack? In the open category they are allowed to use those.

I think Sir A. Boey (Did I really call him Air A. Boey? Damn, Sorry about that >_<) and wickedgenius may have used ChrisIN. I didnt specify if that was allowed or not. But I think I'll have to allow it anyway.

Anyway, I'd really love another guy to help me judge. So I'll contact you via PM about what I'd like to see ^_^;

Okay guys, the title page competition is now closed! I'll begin judging in a few hours, since its 1:30 AM here and i'm way too tired ^_^;

Here's what I'll be judging submission on:

Look: How well do they look? Are things out of place? Does it flow well? All of that goes here. Marked out of ten.

Sound: Is it annoying? Are the sounds of the trains constantly wanting to make you mute your computer? If you answered yes... you may not get full marks. Out of five.

Fun!: Is your title page fun to look at? Do you WANT to watch it? If your title page makes me sit there and be amazed, you get full marks :) out of five.

Uniqueness: Is your title page something i've never seen before? Have you tried something brilliant and fantabulous? If so, you're doing well :) Marked out of five, again.

So, you have 25 total marks, and the winner is the one with the most ^_^; if its a tie, then we'll have a fight to the death.

The marking criteria is the same for both open and closed.

I'll begin judging Open first. Hopefully those will be done today :)

Anyone who wants to help me judge, please PM me your scores, and what you thought, and why.

THANKYOU TO ALL PARTICIPANTS!

I won't be doing uniqueness as well fyi, not something I'm a good judge of.

I've covered the strict entries anyway :)

Please someone reupload it to different file hosting, even rapidshare.com will be better (or maybe forum attachment option), because MU has limited slots in my country and I can't download it, and I really want to check out these entries. Thanks in advance.

Use Firefox with relevant plugin that bypasses this limitation. (Hope it works, since I didn't use it for a long time.)

Alright, I've finished my judging for the open category, I managed to open all of them but Sir A. Boey's... I need to get A LOT of additional GRF's to run it, and I've asked him to send them to me.

I used ChrisIN latest version to judge wickedgenius'

Halo14's did give me a missing GRF error, but I was unable to work out what was missing, so I just judged it as it is. It seemed fine tho (no missing station parts or whatnot)

I'll start judging the strict ones, then wait for the other people who want to help me judge submit their thoughts.

Please PM me your marks those of you who want to help judge.

Load it as a savegame to find out which GRFs are missing LM, speaking of which, Xander's strict entry screen requires Generic Trams...

Hmm, if it needs a GRF to load, it'll need to be moved to the open category.
I havent started looking at the strict ones yet >_< was planning on doing that later today.

I'll mark Xander's as "open" then

I've looked at Xander's entry, and it dosent seem to actually use the generic trams anywhere. Its just got the GRF loaded for some reason. It shouldnt really be a problem and can probaly be kept as strict.

Hmm.. even if my toyland screen doesn't win, it still has some use... Somebody has to be the last too, doesn't it :lol:

But how about little numbering? How many submissions did you get? for Open and Strict?
PS: And I stopped the propaganda to support Dave Worley since he got a nice new red hat now.[/color]
I know I have a BBCode error in my signature but I really cba to fix it.

There were 8 open entries and 12 strict entries. I was suprised, I expected more people to use GRF's and make open entries.

Also, for the record, you didnt come last, but its too early to say who won yet ^_^;
