JoeD's toolbar icons: new downloadable 32bpp tar update

Another 32 bpp tar, ready for download with the new tar loader!

Because I wanted more downloadable 32bpp tars to appear on the
wiki download list, I contacted JoeD, and asked him if I could pngcodec his toolbar icons and tar them in the new tarloader format. He permitted me to do so, so here it is:

Installation is simple: put the tar in the data directory ( do NOT untar ) and start a nightly OTTD >= 11119 with a 32bpp blitter. More info on the wiki pages.
The graphics did appear before on these forums, but were not yet available in the new tar format.

<edit> added gui2.tar, contains the toolbarbuttons and 2 mouse pointers by Athansios: an arrow(0.png), and the 'zzz's with smoothed edges (1.png) : if you want to add these cursors: remove the gui.tar from the data directory if you've downloaded it before, and put the gui2.tar into the data directory. Actually I think there was a link somewhere to already pngcodeced files - how else could I have used them before your contribution.... But they weren't tarred.

Anyway I updated my OpenTTD data with your (and JoeD's) new tar.

I've added a tar with 2 mouse pointers by Athanasios: the arrow and the 'zzz's with smoothed edges. The previous tar is still available, so you can choose whether or not to include the mouse pointers.

Why isn't it not legal? Should I stop using it now? And should GeekToo remove the file in this thread...I'm confuzed

This happened once before, ( and Mintra undid it ). I wasn't aware of a problem either, but some anonymous users seem to think the station
icon resembles a trademark of a certain transportation company (London Tube), because it looks like their logo.

I did not see any request from a mod or the company involved to remove the icon, that's why I in kind of dilemma: should I just revert the edit on the wiki again, or replace the station icon?

Just to avoid problems, I've replaced the stations icon by another icon (also by

And another update! Things move fast in the OTTD world. LordAzamath pointed me to the fact that somewhere between v11118 and v11546 of the nightlies, the format of the openttd.grf was changed by the openttd developers.
As a result, the new fastforward button was not shown.

Luckily, he also did have a solution already, so here's another tar (Thanks, LordAzamath).

If you look in your data directory and a file openttdw.grf and/or openttdd.grf is present, you can use this new tar, then the ff button will be ok again.

If you did not update the nighlies recently, and only have a file openttd.grf you can still use the gui3.tar

I noticed that the fast forward button was not being replaced,
I am using 0.6.1-RC1, Just noticed Dragonling's tip and it works perfect.

I have fixed and repackaged into a new TAR. It is attached.

Perhaps the OP could edit his post and put the included note and repackaged TAR?

Hey, wondering what's happened with my icons and if they are being used? I've not seen any word on this forum and seems that version 1 testing isn't available for mac yet boo.
Wondering if I need to modify them at all for use in the game?

EDIT: OK, I now realise that OSX progress was stopped some time ago. Any update of the icons needed however?
