Ive downloaded the game, now how do i run it??

Ive downloaded the files for the main game for the windows version and i have also downloaded the patch it said i needed to download as well.

Me not being a omputer wiz has stumped me again coz now im stuck.

I do not know ho wto run the game or get it to work, can anyone tell me in idiot terms or steps on how i can get the game to run??

Im using windows xp by the way.

Sorry forgot to use spellchecker, my fingers go faster than the keyboard at times.

I have downloaded the following files which are on my desktop as zip fles;

ttd-win.zip
ttdpt20r1w.zip
allw.zip

Do i have to now install it through one of these files?

Where did you get your ttd-win.zip file?
I would like to look at it before showing you how to install it and the other files.

try opening the files, if there is an install.exe in there run that.
Then add ttdpatch and read the manual for ttdptch installation before you ask what to do with it.
