is it actually there any more?
I think it was a section of electrification test track, as the catenary would not be left standing after removing infrastructure for such a short distance. the crossing could be just to help the lorry get into position to unload and load the experimental train or test train.
now I've spent my penny, so can I use the little lads room now please?

Its very much there at the moment, hence why I was asking........
and no, you can not use the "little lads" room. You'll have to wait until break like everyone else :P
