In my (O)TTD games I'm a happy user of the many station sets, especially the industrial ones. I recently started to wonder if you can force trains with Cargo X to (un)load at station tracks that support Cargo X only. Check the screenshot below for an illustratation:

My suggestion is that the coal train should only load at the coal mine station tracks and the grain train only at the grain silo tracks.
