There's one more peak that no one has mentioned... It's the only engine that received the Peak nickname that was in this livery. For a quiet clue, a video of the thing that makes the model famous is on YouTube somewhere.

and it's famous because they proved that nuclear flasks are pretty damn safe with it... (No: 46009 to be exact)
[edit]RTC = Railway Technical Centre - in case you were wondering...[/edit]

EDIT: Apologies - I missed Akalamanaia's post... Point to Aka then...
Well done. So that's 2 points to Johnmit.
Class name: 46 Akalamanaia
Wheel Arrangement (any notation acceptable): 1Co-Co1 (2-Co-Co-2) railwaymodeler
Year built: 1961 Akalamanaia
Builder: Derby Akalamanaia
Common Nickname: Peak Akalamanaia
The one minor difference from preceding class: Crompton change Akalamanaia
Livery in the photo: RTC Johnmit
Why is this model famous?: Nuclear Test Johnmit
So 2 to Johnmit, 5 to Akalamanaia, 1 to railwaymodeler.
Aka wins then, I guess!

Well, it defintiely looks US built. Possibly Alco or Baldwin. I'm leaning towards Baldwin. Wheel arrangement looks like a 4-6-2, gauge I'm guessing standard.
