Looks awesome, IA! And the colors are actually due to the fact that most of the car is stainless steel to prevent corrosion from the salt water that many lines pass by. It looks perfect.

The locomotive looks possibly a bit tall...but that could just be me.

I'll warn you, though, that I may or may not be able to contact the author. He doesn't have a readme in the download, so I only know his real name.

Dont worry about the size, I know that does trains are huge. Hmm well, if there isnt any readme, you could post its name in the readme of the Locomotion version. But thats up to you.

try checking on this website http://www.lirr.thermomods.com/ its seems to be the main place for the guys that create the LIRR models

The LIRR equipment looks good it would work well the Long Island Scenario
