 I read some notices I made while doing this patch...

It was supposed as experimental feature, I simply forgot it. :?
Maybe I shouldn't write patches at night

So it was a planed feature, IT'S NOT A BUG, have fun!

Yeah, right. That's what they all say...

Seriously, it can't stay like that. If you then build a tunnel in the middle in the same direction and height as the original tunnel, trains will break into pieces and the game will crash.

Making crossing tunnels possible is one thing, but lowering land and breaking the tunnel I can't accept, sorry. I'm afraid you'll have to remove that "feature"... or I will.

I will definitive rewrite this routine, no problem, give me some time.
It shouldn't be so much work, but I have to add a runindex call, so I have find the right place... There isn't much space in the routine

I know, but the patch breaks a lot internal ttd rules, like trains going on road tunnel ends :(
I tried all things I know at the check for is there are tunnel in the way...

Hmm, I think I have to check if there is another tunnel in the same
e direction the way while building, ohhh nooooo :(

All assembler code for this check welcome...

Update:

Currently I haven't found a way to do this,
maybe I could add a ctrl key but I think its the false way.

Josef, you can remove the tunnel feature,
maybe someone can fix this in the future.

Adam K. said you removed 'checking is something on the way' of tunnel, ... but I think it is not to fix anyway .... sad ..

Yeah it is a pitty.

I'm not a programmer, but couldn't you change this tunnelcrossing feature into a tunnel that at the entrance lowers the track by one tile and raises the track back one tile at the end. An upside down bridge, sort of ?
You could do this maybe with the crtl-key for this type of tunnel and without the ctrl-key for normal tunnelbuilding. Then you could in fact cross two tunnels and use the feature to "bridge" a piece of water, aswell as tracks and roads. :?:
