And, just for the record, bribing won't get you a moderator position or anything*. Donations are greatly appreciated though, so keep them coming!

* at least for values under £1,000 or so. ;)

The spam bin. Basically, for all intents and purposes, they were deleted.

Yes. Certain members have thrown this topic off the rails not once but twice. Not three times, you don't want that.

I could donate some more, but... CBA.

I'd much rather buy Owen a pint in June.

Not because I just made a contribution, but I wonder if it could be made possible to give people who donate a special status as "tycoon donor" with a large red beam under author, for one year and again for the next year if there is a new donation made.

Why?

Seriously, whats the point? They haven't contributed anymore to the community than anyone else... Graphics Artsists/Coders donate their time, Moderators their patience, some people their time as they help out. Donating cash money is just a different way of giving something back to the forums that give us so much...

Why is there then a red beam with a status of the person?
Why is there then a system with difference titles?
Why is there then a list of persons who made a donation?

So, why not giving persons who do something extra, each in there way (a dev, a moderator, a donor), a kind of status? By giving persons a status you give them a simple kind of reward and maybe it gives a positive signal to others to make there contribution.
Keep life simple...
