Problem with colour codes using UTF-8

Post by minime »

Using nightly r903 (due to a problem with language selection in beta8).

The following code snippet:

Code: Select all

   -1 * -1	 04 48 95 \b1 \wx0008
// 0008 - \98Waiting: \94\80
	 "\U00DE\UE098Čeká: \UE094\UE080" 00
displays as all blue text (see attachment) instead of the specified black and white.

Can you try some older nightlies and see if you can identify when it breaks?

Ok, I've checked all the nightlies from r904 down to r740 as well as r534, r380 and r239. It does the same thing in every single one of them.

I've attached one more picture - the exit string is displayed in several colors, and when you move the window those colors change.
The relevant strings are

Code: Select all

// 00CA - \90Are you sure you want to abandon this game and quit to DOS ?
	 "\U00DE\UE090Opravdu chcete ukončit hru a vrátit se do Windows?" 00
// 00C5 - \98\ad
	 "\U00DE\UE098\UE0AD" 00
// 00C6 - \89\ad
	 "\U00DE\UE089\UE0AD" 00
