Marcel wrote:How to convert a win self - extract file in a dos file:

You need grf-codec and for easy using the GRFWizard

1.
2.
3.
<SNIP>.
or you could just paste from the dos to the windows pcx files then import the correct pallete before saving

Maybe he just has the same name??

BTW. I'm back, disconnected from the rest of the world for some time (about a day).

I'm going to do it soon but I need some time. Still need to do the Hit-counter and Download-counter and I'm finished. Of course I need to insert the old graphics and insert all new ones. So it will be online in a few days.

I finished the hotel for the dos version. Perhaps someone else wants to have it. It is a shame that there cannot land any helicopters on it. I still wonder how they will get those cranes out of the buildings. Probably they will not be removed and just let be inside, who knows?

I have probably noticed an error in the GRFWizard. When generating an exe file the programm asks in step 3 from which grf file this shall be done. Then there are only win files displayed., it means those with a "r" in it. But the dos version of TTD is correctly detected. Must this be so?

They take those cranes to pieces inside building and then moved out. I was wondering the same when I saw cranes inside building builded near me and I saw this.

stadium

Post by Chulio »

Thanx for the support.

I know the stadium isn't the best  but I will try to improve it. Still my biggest problem is, that the real stdium isn't a sqear (2x2) but more like 2x3. Of course I could make it look like 2x2, but I don't know...

Perhaps you should tell this the constructors of that building too.

No, no...

We just meant that your building doesn't look so nice with that colours and that lighting.

If you could improve it a little, I like the idea very much :D
