Well, I have updated the website again. I took the opportunity to go over the pictures and the tracking table, and it's kind of surprising. There's a great disparity between some of the artistically popular planes (e.g. the A380, with 7! different liveries) and then some ignored classic aircraft, which don't even have one (all the widebody three-holers!) Remember, most of the planes need company colors for both passenger AND cargo.
And, there are some planes for which we do have portraits, but not current ones with the nice liveries.
So, here's some lists for your consideration:
Planes needing new portraits:
A300
B727
Constellation
DC-6
A340
And, the list of planes needing more liveries (or, at least one!):
DC-3
Comet
707
F-27
DC-8
DC-9
737
DC-10
Tristar
A300
RJ85
Super Puma
MD-80
767
757
A320
Saab 2000
ATR72
A340
A321
ERJ145
CRJ700
E190
787
These repaints should be good ones for starter artists, as you don't have to start from scratch - just draw the correct liveries on the already-existing company color sprites, which are posted on the tracking table here:
http://as-st.com/ttd/planes/planes.html
BTW, somehow I missed the liveries for the 777, can someone post them for me? Thanks!

Is it really quite that bright? It seems like it's a little lacking in definition. It looks very attractive, and I think with a couple of tweaks it will be great.

I colored the engines completly red because you can't see the engines when they're white too. I can add some additional details like the small flag next to the door. Even the wings are white.

Wow. Yeah, I see what you mean, it pretty much is all gloss white. I was thinking maybe a little light grey in places, to improve the contrast a bit, but yeah.

I've also added two planes that also lacked real life liveries on the Planeset site, the DC-3 and the B707. Hm, maybe someone should draw an AWACS livery, just for fun?
EDIT: Reposted B707 picture.

For some reason, the B707 picture didn't come through, can you repost it?

Hello All,
Although I love to browse, it's been some time since I've posted. I am a Flight mechanic on 747-200's, flying with the aircraft. I've been an aircraft mechanic for about 20 years and have worked on the majority of the aircraft in the Planeset...should anyone have any questions.
However, I have a few observations and questions of my own:
The industry refers to the 747-100, 200, and 300 (which has an EUD) as "Classics". These all carry either JT-9's (Original), RB-211's, or CF-6 engines. Almost 80% of these aircraft are now flying as converted freighters.
The 747-400's which have EUD's and the 747-400F Freighters which do not have an EUD all have CF6-80 engines. A good portion of the 747-400's are "Combi's" carrying both freight and pax.
Now, as I understand it it's possible to included cargo loading animations. Would it be possible to include loading of cargo on the freighters main decks? A machine called a K loader does this.
And lastly, as far as liveries go...My suggestion for the freight side of things is to add Atlas Air (which bought Polar) and China Air Cargo (I've worked for both of these companies and they are very big in the freight world, each with a fleet size similar to CargoLux).
And finally, I've read and read...and would anyone be interested in helping me add the livery for my company? Ive included a picture below.
Many Thanks! [/img]
