Hmm it's been a while, but the forums are slow AGAIN. Omnislash can't even load the page... Owen, would you happen to know of any updates that happen on Saturdays? :P

BTW: how was you trip? :P

No, but it happens to be the first of the month, which means many things happen. Also, there was major downtime today due to an error during backing up. Everything's sorted now however, sorry for the problems (I was on a ferry when it happened though, so I couldn't have done anything!)
BTW: how was you trip? :P
Brilliant. When I have time, I'll write a bit about it here.

I was most upset to find the forums down today - so many useful posts I could have made. It was somebody logging into Messenger as "Is Anybody An Expert in PhpBB" (or similar) that made me think 'Hmmm, how strange'. Then I realised it was Omni and just put it down to an exhausted brain  .

Anyway, glad to see that they're back.

But Observer/Athipian (forgot the '<><', lol, though he doesn't use it on these forums) doesn't really visit these forums anymore?

I don't know how the backup routine works that makes the server so slow, but once a month, it does, unfortunately. There's nothing I can do about it.

Anyway, when I have time, I'll write some stuff about my trip. But I haven't really got time just now - have a look at the Outward Bound UK site anyway for a bit of information. :)

Me and Rob14 are going away for the weekend if anybody's interested.

We're going to Castlerigg Manor in Keswick, the Lake District with school. This trip is of course famed for the tim that Rob14 manged to break a window. I wasn't there at the time so can't take any of the blame :D . One of us will probably let you know about it on Sunday/Monday.

Have fun guys, and don't break anything this time!

I seem to find the forums slow/not working a lot when I come on, but maybe that's just busyness.

The forums always seem to be working quite well for me. I'm on a gig connection now and it rocks :D

It's fine on a 56k connection, apart from when you've got like 10 threads loading :D
Thanks,
Adam Reece.
