It's a bit of both, it is a reborn old railway line from Wymondham to Dereham, then to Fakenham, the Fakenham section (North section, is right now being rebuilt, the line is active so far between Wymondham to Dereham, the Crossings were cleared up because they were in a dreadful state. The one near the station had old tracks and rotten sleepers, the northern crossing had been neglected, all that was there was a pole by the cottage in the picture. The tracks were there, and the posts were brown and rotten, now that has been cleared up, and the North Elmham to Dereham section of the Northern Section is nearly done.Dave Worley wrote:Is this not a heritage railway?
