Whow  you guys really post A LOT i turn my head for a sec, and 2 new pages are posted full.

And a few minor buts:
-The briges use the Toyland Railroad
-The grass still has some green spots/corners.

But overall, nice, very nice :D

I think the white bed of the bridges is a little too bright. A darker grey would be more realistic.

It's great to see all this progress on the bridges and terrain!

Has anybody taken a look at my selected list of trains we could use? It's on my website (in my signature, below) under Trains.

I have, and I think you forgot the EF81. (Which you can find info about here: http://www.auran.com/trainz/database/ef81.html )

Otherwise: A good list.

It's a nicer white than the snow-white that was on the other bridge. But it can be a little darker!

BTW, what is an concrete color? Maybe the color used on this forum?

I don't know what it looks like on your monitor, but on mine it is alternating light grey and dark grey.

Concrete is usually not one solid color, it's kind of gently mottled, isn't it? I think a blend of the two background colors of this forum would be perfect. I don't mean an average of the colors, I mean both colors together in a sort of lightly blotched appearance.

Another Idea for the wooden bridge, but the sprites need to be bigger for that, does anyone know how to make them bigger? I know peeple do this by higher building so it is possible!

Do you know what you are saying, it's hard to mix to colors random!

I know both more, and less, than you think.

I am not a graphics artist (I'm too clumsy). However, my job requires me to have a "vision" both in graphics and in programming, and I have to communicate this to people that can actually do it. To make this work I have to understand what can be done, and more or less how in principle.

You are right, it is all but impossible to manually mix colors at random. Fortunately, with the right tools you don't have to.

You can download a copy of PaintShop Pro for free from
http://www.jasc.com

I've used this for years and it has lots of useful features. Maybe not good enough for print work but more than good enough for work destined only for a computer screen.

One way to do it would be to make an area of one of the solid colors, then to airbrush the other color lightly over it. That would create a more or less random combination.

Also, there's a tool somewhere (I can't remember what it's called, I'm trying to find it) that works kind of like a tornado - it swirls around all the pixels in a given area, mixing them together randomly. If you put an area of one color next to an area of the other color and use this tool along the border, you'll get a border area that is the two randomly mixed together.

I'm using Adobe 6 is that an good program?

I will look in the help of the program to find out how to mix the colors, maybe it is possible.

But still it has to be added into another picture. And these picures are so damn small I have to use 500% zoom to draw something pixel by pixel into the right place!

So if anyone knows any good color for it, which I can use that will be of great help!

This is an manual mix!
