Openttd.org has become openttd.com last I heard.

Hope they finally decided to update.... never received any reply on a previous topic I posted about the site... all the links were broken as they referred to openttd.org, which no longer existed.
Siggy not gonna work unless someone allows javascripting...

openttd.org and openttd.com are the same thing, both should work identically and links should be interchangable. Right now, however, there is a problem with TrueLight's server which hosts the web site and also runs one of the SVN servers, as well as the DNS server for OpenTTD, so things may not work or may work slowly until he can fix them.

Try without 'www'

Nope, both should work, but, as I said, there was a problem with the nameserver earlier, which means that some of the addresses may not have resolved. I think this is fixed now.

Ah... yeah.. if the nameserver went down it would take a bit of time till everyone is able to connect to the site again, sometimes several hours (depending on hop count). Both .com and .org however work now, also without www.

However I still recommend to remove the preceding openttd.org from all links and let them work by reference. Aside from saving bandwith from excess html, it also is a failsafe in case openttd.org fails to resolve (while openttd.com does). It will also save excess hammering on nameservers.

(These kinds of problems have given me SO MUCH problems in the past when integrating php modules because some brainfart decided to hardcode links... I can tell you that it takes many many many nights to convert thousands of links)

As far as I can tell, darkvater is the admin. Will email him in a day or 2 if things still havent been changed.
