TTDCX "Problems"

hi,
I have 2 problems with TTDCX:

the first one is, that any button I click on, the computer asks
me to restart with MS-DOS phormat.

the 2nd problem is, that my TTDCX can't obtain information from my GRF files.
Am I the only one who has those problems?
And how can I fix those problems?

Well I just use notepad, and had never any problems with that.

About your problem with ttdcx I can't help you, sorry.

Probably not. Bug-fixing doesn't seem to be Andrex's favourite thing to do. (Not that I have much room to talk; I'm foruming when I should be fixing NFORenum.)

1. Obviously that's a Windows related problem, TTDXC would never require to "restart in MS-DOS"
2. With the superb amount of details you gave, I can only suggest you to go to Options and disable GRF info retrieval.

It's hard to fix bugs when you don't describe the problem completely, I do try to fix those I receive reported via email or are found by myself.

I had disabled the GRF info as you had said, and it stopped to ask
me to restart my computer...
Probably, my problem it's the GRF info.
I'm happy to see that it stopped, but still I want my TTDXC to get info from GRF.

You have to download component which displays info.

I had downlouded components.exe and ttdxc_components_setup.exe, Before I asked the questions.

But in TTDXC, when you open "New graphics" card, in place where you can see GRF info, if you were not downloaded it, you can see button "Download..." So, you probably downloaded it? It's not TTDXC component AFAIK.

Downloud button, are you sure? there is no such a button in my TTDXC.
is my problem is because I install the XP componenet (I have Win98)?

Am.. I "digged" this web, after I had tried to reinstall the TTDXC.
And I found nothing... could you please tell me how those files called,
or tell me exaclly where can I downloud it? I almost giving up!

Go to "Tools and downloads", TTDXC is first. When you click on screenshot, you'll go on Andres TTD Sollutions site. There is all you need.
