OpenTTD Dedicated Server?

Hi everyone!

I'm wondering if there is a dedicated server option somewhere, anything is ok. Bat files, extra downloads sure.

(I see a lot of 0 Player servers which makes me think. )

yes there is an option for dedicated server.

Simply make a shortcut to ur openttd.exe i.e. on desktop an edit the properties. Add the option -D to the parameters and start the shortcut. then u will see a console window.

But make a copy of ur ottd folder for the dedicated first. Otherwise the server use the same config. or u can add the parameter -c parameter an given the configfilename u will use.

for first start a dedi server u should start normally and make all the settings (difficult, mapsize, patches and so on) the close the game and start as dedicated.
