Goods/passenger don't dissapear at stations?

Post by WZA »

Hi,

Is there any possibility to turn on such option that part of goods/passengers will not dissapear at stations when vehicle is not loading.

For example, the train is taking very long round-trip and when it returns to station it's practically empty, because most of the production is not there anymore.

Best regards,

This has to do with station ratings. If you open the station window and click on ratings you'll see that the rating for the items you want to pick up will be rising. When your train has left this will fall down again. If your rating gets really low, no items will be added to the station and you'll end up in the situation you have now...

Remedy: put more trains on the same route using this procedure:
- open the window of your current train
- open a depot near to the pickup station
- build a new train including the wagons, open its orders and click on the old train WHILE holding ctrl.

The result is 2 trains who share their orders, which means that if you need to change the route afterwards, both will change simultaneously. :D
More info on this can be found on the wiki.

Usually, when i build a new route, i send one train, when it leaves another and so on, until the first train is halfway back to the pickup station. :))

if the station is todo with passengers, make a short bus route from the station to another bus station to keep up ratings.
