Im so sorry, but where is Russian language with russian townnames!!!

There is a patch-like-thing that can do it (unfortunately I don't know where it is; poke around for a while and you should find it, or maybe someone who knows where it is will post a link), but this feature won't go into the trunk until unicode support is complete.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Russian version of OpenTTD does not need any unicode support.DaleStan wrote:There is a patch-like-thing that can do it (unfortunately I don't know where it is; poke around for a while and you should find it, or maybe someone who knows where it is will post a link), but this feature won't go into the trunk until unicode support is complete.
It's build on newgrf file, that content russian symbols in win1251 codepage, and translated language file. It's work on win & lin platforms without any problems.

Siggy not gonna work unless someone allows javascripting...
I modified code only for russian town name generation, because the rules for generating english town names can't be applied for russian. My town names file consist of near 22,5k names of realy russian towns and included in namegen.c}T{Reme [Q_G] wrote: If im not mistaken... the one on your site also has modified code for better town name generation... doesnt it?
