How do i get rid of a crashed train

how the hell do i get rid of a crashed train, ive tried everything (except the correct way of doing it) to get rid a freaken train?!?! it just sits there and ive look at every menu and all possibilities to get rid of it.

Click on the crashed train, click the green "go" flag (i.e. tell it to stop).

Heh, that happened to me too, except the first time I think I clicked stop before the crash happened, so the train just disappeared seemingly on its own. The second time I was really confused because it didn't disappear like it did before.
