Inspiration?
Should anyone be stuck for ideas when drawing buildings, or laying out airports, take a look on Google Maps.
Some of the high resolution satellite images are amazing:
An airport

Real long trains (scroll the map south)

Goods yard

How long does a goods "yard" need to be? a state or two maybe?
OK now?

Weirdy, refrain from putting your posts in one block, you're messing up the table display again.
Anyway, good maps! Also check out the other maps there - there's some good ones for scenario building as well as graphics building.

Weirdy: if you think that is a large yard, just take a look at Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong:

Note the zoom level. The little line in the top left is a cargo ship.
Close-up:

Each of the rectangles is a cargo container. A 40' long cargo container.
Makes you realise just how out of scale the vehicles in TTD are

To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Anyway, the tablebreaking makes the topic difficult to read.DaleStan wrote:There's no space until after the third, meaning that if you're on anything smaller that 1204x768 or don't have your browser maximized then the page starts side-scrolling.
