slightly like a troll. Yes you show a geniune interest in TT, and this
newsgroup, but some of the more recent posts have been slightly "hotter"

exactly the same as you. Showing an interest, and then beginning to flame
everyone, and posting controversial items. I am in no way saying that you
are a troll, I'm just saying that these posts could be interpreted as
"trollish" posts.

I hope we don't fall out over this. I'm simply saying that what I read from
you seems quite controversial, and has stirred up some opposition in the
group. Even if it is sarcastic, as in a previous thread: it has still caused
a bit of a stir.

I just wanted to show that Eddie who is as old as you (I think) « could

help » (I mean the opposite of « can't help » ) saying that he will burn the
warez'er and stood quiet, and yes, I was wrong and I behave in a very
immature way and I consequently apologize for that.

The words you used against Denis and the fact that you told me quite a long
time ago that you've got to go to war with some guys made me believe you
were going to war with him. I was wrong, again.

As Eddie said, being 17 doesn't allow me to have a critical judgemental
attitude toward someone I only know while reading his posts.

BTW, someone isn't immature or mature. We all are more or less mature than
someone else, to do something, and depending on our age. Moreover, someone
generally mature might behave in a immature way sometimes.

I hope I didn't make too many English mistakes, and I apologize for hurting
you and maybe others. Next time, I'll think more than twice before posting.

Maybe you're right and shouldn't I have been so radically in my opinion
about warez. But I think that Paul could have been a little more subtle
towards me & Denis Houdee and his warez. I never intended to drive him away
from this newgroup, but I could simply not understand that he was so heated
about those warez and that heatness maybe jumped over to my own posts so
that it looked like I 'flamed' him. I apologize for that.

Apart from the warez-topic, I haven't posted any controversial post at all,
in my humble opinion. And I will try to restrict my post-topics to TT and
it's look-a-likes, but I don't think it is reasonable to ask from me to not
post to a (off-)topic started by another one which I have another opinion
about then the most other people here. You may see it as trollish post,
whatever a 'troll' may be (I just know 'troll' as a green scandinavian
monster), but I think that's not reasonable. Do I have to shut my mouth
because the majority here does not agree with me? As I said, I will try to
be less offending, as I maybe was a little bit towards Paul Wright. I hope
that's enough explanation for you all who where annoyed by me & my posts.

Paul is a regular poster to alt.games.grand-theft.auto. I've been there
myself and I know that there are some very aggresive people on there.
Perhaps not to me, but to other groups, who they have wars against. And
regularly employ tactics like flooding, hacking to get rid of something
which they oppose.

I didn't say that I don't think. What I said was that you insulted Paul for
being "quite young."
And I replied that as you are of similar age, it doesn't really entitle you
to say such a thing.

You're entitled to your opinion. What I am making a comment about is perhaps
the way you put it across.

It's getting pretty nasty at the moment. Because of the warez thread, a lot
of people have decided to killfile OT threads.
I have not asked you to stop posting to OT threads. I was simply saying that
some of you posts to them did seem slightly aggresive. Off Topic posts often
result in some form of aggression. This has been the worst one on this group
for a long time. Usually, they are debated for a couple of days, and then it
all blows over. Warez is an explosive topic, like politics, religion and
sex, which are considered "taboo" on Usenet. They almost certainly cause
controversy, and what follows is generally chaotic. Thankfully it has ended
now.

You do not need to shut your mouth (or restrain your fingers!) when you are
in a minority, as that is fascism. If you wish to end it, then you ignore
there last posts. If you wish to carry on, then do it civily, rather than
flaming. I'm not saying that's what you did, but it was slightly nasty.

Anyway, that is the last word on this matter. Let's get back to normal!

That's what you said. I assumed you were talking about me as when you said
"he" there is no sign of Paul's name in that sentence, so the natural
assumption to an outsider would be that you were talking about me.
