I once did... but I ran into the funkiest error. If you make it all the way to
the edge of the map (or as far as you CAN go), you can lower a whole bunch of
land to sea level, but the water won't go in. You can't make rivers. I have no
idea why...

Chris, would you mind if I put it on the site?

If you don't want me to, just say no.

No I don't think I have. I've got a lovely grid map though. Only two cities,
and a few randomly placed industries.
Should be quite a challenge...

Be aware of one thing: if you have a flat map without any water tile
there is no possibility to get back water.

Is that mine? If so, then although anybody's welcome to give it to

This is because the squares at the edge are no 'real' water squares.
They are blue, because they're at sea level, and there's almost always
some 'real' water adjacent to the edge.

Hmmm...I don't know. I took it from a TT site. It could be yours, and its
been circulated around the world.

Hein?
I think there is at least a 1-square large see on the map borders, isn't it?

Yes but I believe I did some testing on this awhile ago and find out that
even though there is a one square of water around the map no-matter what,
when you seal it all up to that point, and try to get water back, you can't.
Its some bug....

And now I have one. I sat down for about an hour and made a map completely
at sea level. I had left a square with water barricaded in, but it got
covered up in the smoothing processes :-(
