Incidentally, it always amuses me how, late in the game, the game
will offer a subsidy on a route you have already built. I little
bit of a design fault, I would have thought.

Really?
Never seen that.......But then I turn nearly all the messages onto 'summary'
so I only see them if I'm not doing anything......

And after I've paid off the loan I don't even often keep a check on my
financies....Its not as if I have to watch out for a dodgy accountant. or
anything....B-)

It might be due to the fact that you deliver goods not often enough. A
subsidy could ne offered if you deliver lots of goods, but not frequently.

I know.. I think it should be harder to make a profit - even big
companies have to balance the books and think before spending money. In
TT, you have so much money you just cant possibly spend it all.
