Me being new to this N.G. i notice most of you refer to only two versions of
TT.
There are three..
Bog-Standard, World Editor and 'Deluxe'
Sadly I have all three.
Matt.

More than two!
Actually there are four!
Actually there are four...
Here they are in order:
1. Original TT: this version was released only in the United Kingdom
(possible rest of Europe as well) and featured vehicles with proper names
(e.g. Darwin 300 = Boeing 747).
2. Standard TT: this is the version most people have, it was released after
Microprose in the US made noises about being worried about being sued by say
Boeing if a 747 crashed; therefore the names were replaced with 'false'
ones. (By the way, if anyone's interested I can tell them the real names of
every vehicle in the temperate climate if I'm bored!).
3. World Editor: Add on pack for both of the above. If one had the
'Original' version it turned the vehicle names into false ones.
4: Transport Tycoon Deluxe: The version we all know and love, the last
version of TT ever made; generally considered to be the 'definitive' TT by
most TT connoisseurs.
I possess the original, World Editor and TTDLX (first edition of TTDLX)

Re: Actually there are four!
I'm sad to say that yes, I do possess, boxes (I can't find the box for
TTDLX, probably in attic, better start looking), manuals and disks.(Original
came on 3.5" floppies as did World Editor)

Re: Actually there are four!
I also have all 4 (- the 'standard' version came on an update disc)
- but do you have a loadable file of the 'real' vehicle names?
