How should I put it... what a load of s***.
Windows Me is not particularly good, I agree with that. But XP is one of the most stable operating systems Microsoft has ever created! It's much more stable than Windows 1.x to Me, and, depending what you use it for, is more stable than 2000 (as I say, depending what you use it for).
Now, can you please stop swearing, even though it is bleeped out?
Right ... and only people who has PC only for playing doesn't like XP ... it is very good OS ... mine in 6 months crashed maybe twice and user can regulate many XP functions ...

What's the use of this "XP versus other" crap
The topic is: what OS are you on
Nobody is going to change his opinion anyway
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

What if you want to run older DOS-based apps?
I personally use a dual-boot between 98 and XP. This should be triple-boot fairly soon, with Mandrake 9 as the third.

Many work fine, but some (eg, TTO and TTD) don't.

Hardly any of my old games work in XP, which sucks cos most of my games are old. I'm used to it though cos I had ME before that, and ME was much worse cos the screen just went all squary (as in lots of squares I have no idea how to spell it, maybe squarey is actually)

Did you know theres a bug in it that if you install it from a folder with a name of 255 characters it will fail to install. Or something like that. ha. What sad person worked that out.
