New aircraft Info, for modders plz!

Post by d00mh4mm3r »

I just remeberd about this new aircraft... the Airbus A380
It will be in mass production at 2006
Seats 555 passengers
ft m
Overall length 239 ft 3 in 73 m

Max take off weight 590,000kg
Min take off weight 252,000kg

Option of 150 tonnes of payload (locomotion speaking, 150 tonnes of anything else)

Airbus A380 Powerplants
A380-800 - Four 302kN (67,890lb) thrust class Rolls-Royce Trent 900 or Engine Alliance (General Electric-Pratt & Whitney) GP-7200 turbofans.
A380-800HGW - Four 311kN (69,915lb) Trent 900s or GP-7200s.
[Edit] 1431.57mph Or 2303.8880000000004km/h... WITHOUT WEIGHT AT ALL [/Edit]

sorry, but that is all I could come up with, I got the manual, but the estimated speed on there looks a bit off beat (700km/h)

All the above data can be obtained from the internet... (google search : Airbus A380)

sorry I could not get any more information thats alowed to be relised to the public.

Wait, heres another aircraft, its not realy new, but it would be extreamly usefull for people who for some reason like to transport cargo (not passengers) on air-planes

The Antonov An-225 Mryia

Type: Heavy Transport
Powerplants: Six ZMKB Progress Lotarev D-18T turbofans with 229.50kN of thrust each
Top Speed: 1584.6229999999998mph... OR 2550.2039999999997km/h...... WITHOUT WEIGHT AT ALL
Max take-Off Weight: 600,000kg
Max Payload (internal or external): 250,000kg
Wingspan: 88.4m
Length: 84m

Sorry if I could not get any birds eye viw of the huge ass plane... my work mate's dad could not get anywhere high to take a birds eye view.[/b]

the air bus listed in the real stats are a tad wrong for the Airbus A380
it seats 555 passengers.. as is listed on internet...
and goes only a small mach 0.88... = 1078.039km/h OR 669.8622mph

http://www.gordonengland.co.uk/conversion/velocity.htm

thats where you can calculate the valiocity of any thing
but i do belive for it to be a bit more locomotion... they will need to be kept under 1000km/h

lol, yer... I did the math when i got up this morning, (I added weight)

The speed's I listed above, did not inclued the weight of the aircraft, or the drag it creates.

I also did'nt notice the A380 was already in locomotion 2006, mainly because I got bored of playing for so long I stopped playing the same save when I get up to the year 2005. lol.

It *is*. Fire up the map editor, click 'advanced' and go into the vehicle list.
