If you want graphics for the current engine, you'll probably have better luck over here.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

I was looking for any graphics that people have produced.

I wasnt really looking for graphics from the new engine, just the old one! :)

What DaleStan is trying to say is that there is much more graphics beeing drawn for TTDPatch, and since TTDPatch and OpenTTD share the same graphics format, you'd have a better chance of actually finding something by asking in the TTDPatch forum (and posting the results on the OpenTTD forums).

I would be interested in a Swiss Set. The other day I came across MB's plan to develop a SBB/BLS/ÖBB Set and an alpine climate to go with it. Have a look here.

First of all, I suggest you space out the bogies a little. Both pairs of wheels should be a little more towards their end of the vehicles (that is move the left wheels 1 pixel more to the left, and the right wheels one pixel more to the right).

Also the Re460 is not really this sleek, it looks a lot more blockish, check this http://www.photos-trains.ch/photos/pict ... 2,3,7,9,19
if you don't understand what I mean.

Also I've never seen any Re460 with a swiss flag on it, the SBB/CFF/FFS logo llooks like this
Image.

finally, I thing the sides look a little too plain, a bit of texturing would be welcome (notice the horizontal lines running along the sides of the Re460).

I guess I'm done with the comments for now :)

Thanks v. much for the comments LordOfThePigs!

I will add some texturing, ie the lines along the body
Do you think i should just remove the white cross?
I put it one because a lot of locos of that type have different logos, and i think i remembered seeing one like that when i went to ch, maybe not! :)

Cheers

I suggest you try adding the comany's logo, which I posted in my previous post. As You can see, it's no more than the whitecross, with an arrow on each end (to convey the meaning of movement probably).

Or maybe you could add the SBB/CFF/FFS Cargo logo which is a box surrouded by an arrow like this:

Code: Select all

  /-/ |---------| \-\
 / / | |-----| | \ \
/ ----- | | ----- \
\ ----- | | ----- /
 \ \ | |-----| | / /
  \-\ |---------| /-/

Sometimes I'm told "Brilliant"...
Sometimes I'm told "Charming"...
And Often I'm told "Shut Up"!

Hi, I slightly edited the side views, And I think it looks a little more like it should. I still thing there is something wrong with the wheels, but I don't really know what.

I'll have a try at it too.

Hey

Cheers for your help! :D

Ive added the SBB/CFF/FFS logo and 'blocked up' a bit the / and \ views.

The wheels ive made the same with a larger gapr between the wheels in the bogie.

James

Edit: Just seen your comment akalaimania, i didnt know it was done like that, but thinking about it you are right! Cheers

Here's another version with a slightly lighter shading on the sides, and the body a little longer too.

I also made the wheels a tad lighter, they looks smaller now...

And about the wheels, I meant spacing the bogies out from each other, not the wheels...

Hey Jamesvassie, do you have any MSN messenger address (any other IM will do) If yo please PM me!

And by the way, Notice how Purno's sprites touch all of the edges of the blue rectangle. It leaves you more work space.
