Cannot host MP game!

Actually I can, but nobody joins and when I search for my game´s name from another computer, I even dont see it. Is there something to be set in windows to host MP game? Everything I´ve set in openttd to be a server via internet was right.. Can somebody help me?? Thanks

Have you forwarded the ports? Have you set it to advertise? Also what version are you using?

I dont know what you exactly mean - ?

I tried it with 0.3.6 and even with nightlies.
Yes, I set it to "internet (advertise)"...

You need to set up your firewall and / or router to forward the ports so that computers on the internet can access the game. As you don't even know what this means I guess you don't know how. As every router / firewall is different your best bet is to consult the appropriate manuals for them.

If you do not have a router / firewall your ISP probably has a web based firewall or they block the ports that OpenTTD uses, if this is the case you should contact them for more information.

It is port 3979 by default, but you can change that in openttd.cfg

Thanks a lot for the advices!
But my brother says the problem will be in our connection - I dont understand it at all, but its like that we cannot host an internet game - hmmm - I will ask the serviceman who provides us with internet..
