Try http://www.bricksonthebrain.com/instructions/ for instructions. I don't know if there are any suitable ones there, but it may be worth a look.

(Edit 2005-Mar-25, 16:45: It seems the site doesn't answer for the moment, but it will get back up, I'm sure)

When (If?) it comes to making buildings, may I recommend my own Lego building program: BlockCAD, http://web.telia.com/~u16122508/proglego.htm

You made BlockCad? Cool. A friend of mine reccomended it on IRC and I had a little look at it. Problem is though, does it support saving to a format that can then be used with Pov-Ray?

Yes. BlockCAD can export in the LDRAW format, and with everything setup correctly, it's only one click in BlockCAD to get a POVRay render done.

(You need the LDRAW parts library, of course)

Yeah, sorry. No instructions. But I did find one with instructions:

Jobs finished :)
here's a preview:
Known bugs:
1.The white part that was in instructions does not exist in ldraw parts library.
2.Ldwiev renders the motor part crapily so some parts are 100% transparent. But this is only LDview bug

Mail Car:

http://library.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/g ... gi?i=10808

There should be a list of what vehicles we need on a webpage, and there definately needs to be a plan for what is expected of this set.

Not that I'm trying to take over the project, but still...

You could always go to lugnet (Lego User Groups NETwork): http://www.lugnet.com or more precisely, the discussion group for trains: http://news.lugnet.com/trains/ and ask nicely for .ldr files of people's creations.

This ideal of Lego Land to replace Toyland is great! Hope you get it
going and if I can help, I will.

Here's the lego model. The carriages might be too long though. You'll have to ask the coders how long they can be.
