Does that sentence have a contradiction within itself?
If so, I could add it to my signature!

I'll wait a bit longer to use DBSET(XL)W until Darkvater says "That has been fixed a while ago and it works (FULLY) once again"

Problems perhaps unknown to you: exes only work on WINDOWS!!!

dbsetxlw.grf, gives a NUM_SPRITS error
As Darkvater said, this is fixed and now only occurs when you have many newgrf sets loaded at the same time (e.g. dbsetxl, arcticset, cargoset, newships, newplanes)

Well, I did now :lol: And yes, it seems to work (although you have only two trains)
And I tested it on my nightly build r1793.. Seems to me that I need to get myself an update :lol:

EDIT: Maybe a good idea to list the trains working :wink:
Okey.. Here are the two trains I got to work: VR Sr1, Dr16. Oh, I forgot to mention that the VR express coach also work :)

EDIT2: I updated and tried one more time, without luck.. So you can only get the two trains mentioned even on build r1924
Currently working on:

Norwegian (NSB) Trainset

It would be most excellent if you could merge your list to http://wiki.openttd.com/index.php/Newgrf. Then we would again have a single point where the most current status is recorded and anyone can edit it. We could kill the now grossly obsolete sticky post regarding the same topic.

does anyone know why the tempsetw.grf doesn't work right or how to get it to work? I enjoy playing with it using the patch, but ottd just crashes each time I try to use it. Even the nitely.

Nope, when I go to build a train, the engines are there but the wagon are all messed up and then I get and error window, follow by a nice crash.

Are you using the latest Nightly?

How does your openttd.cfg look like, especially the newgrf section?

Yep, newest nightly from svn compiled on cygwin.

my cfg just has the one set name under the newgrf heading. No other sets. I'll try getting the newest copy of the grf to see if its something in the version I have.

--- new info ---
Okay tried the newest tropicstw.zip from the patch graphics section. With the nitely, it throws an assert in gfx.c at
assert(height > 0);
assert(width > 0);
