Major Colour graphics Error
Moderator: Graphics Moderators
Is there anything else (not TTD) in your computer that looks weird? Because it's possible you have a memory overload in the video card. That's why a reboot would usually fix it. But if maybe the memory was dying, it might not fix. Also you could try a complete powerdown, let it sit for a bit, then turn it back on again.
Does the game play properly anyway?

Ghost, I haven't been checking this thread too much, but...
Did you see this link? Browse and you'll find a download location for the original graphics. I reccomend youu to reinstall the original game graphics and start again...

1) every other game is fun, memory (RAM andROM) are fine, no problem.krtaylor wrote:Is there anything else (not TTD) in your computer that looks weird? :::etc::: Does the game play properly anyway?
2)the game runs absolutly fine. the game play is the same as it was, well, i say that, but i mean except the colour of course
2) im going to try putting ALL of my game files on another computer, and seeing of theres still a problem.
a) if theres still a problem, theres a problem with a programme iv'e down loaded, or that a thing or two might not be right in the grf file
b) if theres nothing wrong, it works fine on the other computer, its my computer

Even if you copy the files over, if it works on another computer, it could still be a registry problem on your computer.

well, thats the only way i can think of to find out
Edit: DISCOVERY!
it seems to be the game files. according to what i can piece together, the TTDX Config. is missing, even though its there, but wont run properly. (on the other machine) i think its the new stations from this american add-ons for TTD. it was fine till i installed the new stations. could this be an idea to what is happening?

can some one look into this, to see if its a problem with the add-on, or somthing else.

If it's possible for USStats[w].grf to do THAT to your graphics, something is very borken.Geo.c Ghost wrote:i think its the new stations from this american add-ons for TTD. it was fine till i installed the new stations.
Yes, someone can. And its name is "Geo.c.Ghost". If you are convinced the US stations are breaking your graphics, then REMOVE THEM!Geo.c.Ghost wrote:can some one look into this
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

1. Uninstall TTD
2. Reinstall TTD
3. Install TTDXC and the Patch
4. Install fresh copies of all the new graphics you want.
It'll be much quicker and easier than shadowboxing to figure out what went wrong.
