I have downloaded the program, and it looks good!
However I couldn't find that "show switches at start-up" function.
I normally don't use that one but now it can be usefull to check whether everything's switched on without haveing to find that out during the game.
I hope it works now.

Everything works now - except - the electrified railways, which isn't in your program yet. :( . It looks like adding stuff directly into the ttdpatch.cfg has become impossible for me.

Arathorn wrote:I've read it in total yes, and I agree this is a problem, but I don't really agree with your solution. Maybe it should be possible to electrify your railways later in the game, without having to remove the old tracks first.
Maybe with some kind of cheat (a money-costing one), place a sign on top of the railway you want to electrify and then enter Cht: Electrify or something like that. And indeed Diesel and Steam trains should be able to use the electrified railway.
Maybe this is also an idea for a new disaster (if they can't be added, maybe modify one of the submarines into it), broken elektrics because of frost (one of the excuses for the Dutch railway company for trains coming too late), wich would turn some electrified tracks back into normal ones (only in winter of course).
NO it is working with Cht: Tracks 1 - it will change all tracks to electrified !

I meant the post directly above yours:

Any way past this?

I have version 1.9.1 alpha 10 downloaded from the link you just posted.
There is no electrified railways switch (I have swept across all switches hundreds of times now).
Two another things:
1: The aurorenewal is always on 0 (instead of -129 I always put it on because that's off and I don't want it)
2: Plane crash control: Normal planes don't crash if disasters are off is also always on. I don't really care about that one, because I always play with disasters on, but still.

Oh,my :
Add 1) Beacuse at program start It set all values to TTDPatch defaults ...
autorenewal is at start set -6, and if you want to OFF it, you must change it to -129 (take a look at status bar, there are short hint)
This program will in this switch write 'off' to file, only when -129 is in program. Always take a look at status bar, there are some hints
Add 2) The same as 1, but if you want to off it just leave it with checked 'Normal planes don't crash if disasters are off' , this is the same if you would off switch
About Version: try again, if still wrong I will kill myself

It is so even when I load ttdpatch.cfg (do I sound that stupid? )
Don't kill yourself! Just update your link.

EDIT: I now re-downloaded the whole program and this one is allright.
So you only have to update only half of your links or kill yourself half alternatively.

I meant with that that I understand that when you open your program all switches are on default. However when I do "File --> Load --> from TTDPatch.cfg" all switches are the way i want them, except for the two switches I mentioned.

I'll upload the file to here, it shouldn't be too big.

Then there's another bug for you (or maybe for Marcin):
In TTDPatch starter, the electrified railways switch is grey (I'll upload a pic to show what I mean), at first I thought that should be, because it has something to do with the unified maglev switch and I already had that one on. But at start-up (verbose), the switch is said to be off, and when I start a new game and go to the year 2040, I can't build the electrified railway (shouldn't be) and the maglev tracks (should be). This may have nothing to do with your program but all with a bug in Marcin's programming, but I think you know that better then me.

Oh Jezus, I forgot to tell you, grey switches are unavabile beacuse you select TTDPatch version that not have this switch. To change version select:
Settings->TTDPatch Starter->Version and select version
electrified railways switch is avabile from 1.9.1 alpha 11.6 (4, January 2003)

All you need in TTDPatch Starter is set TTD directory and set Version of your TTDPatch (both option can be set in 'Settings')
The rest after setting your Version is rebuilding Database (Ctrl+F12, or run TPS again), and you see all switches... some of them can be gray and unavabile ... it is beacuse you selected version that haven't those gray switches ... (try select 1.8.1 - you see many switches unavabile, then 1.9.1 alpha 11.6 - all avabile)

STRANGE, very strange .... please try download it again:
http://www.ttdpatch.glt.pl/download/tps/tps.zip
Unpacked it, Run it, set TTD Directory, set version, PRESS YES,
if you still have this error, pelase make a screenshot of TPS, I will see on screenshot what was the last loading (and probably make error)
Thank you, and I'm sorry
