The original Railroad Tycoon was what TTD was patterned after. For its time, it was every bit as adictive as TTDX. However, the laters eye-candy features are still better that RRT.

Thanks Spiff, I already gave up on this forum. In one thread people asking for bigger maps and then is followed in other by stupid argument "...you can't see the whole map in 3dtt..."

I did played last night again (Trains and Trucks Tycoon) and even with some of the bugs and limitations (because lazy and greedy blood sucking thiefs = VX developers), is still wonderfull game. In last game I'm using mostly trucks with two trailers on very long distances, its great to jump on the truck and go through the scenery in 120km/h.

Giving up
Well it must be hard for you coming here and seeing all these questions about TTD
Most are impossible due to the limits of the code
And you're playing a game that looks really great, i saw your screens
and it solves many limitations
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

Thanks Spiff.
The problem is, 90% or more of the people here do not see the engine limitations. They want more and more from game already streched above limits. Without the original code, so many things can't be done.
Then the tile system versus vector based graphics. All new games using now the vector based graphics, the land looks more natural and you can always use 2D map to see the whole picture etc. Even the new RCT 2 (based on the same, modified engine) is looking little ancient. The play is fun, but the engine is to old.
As I set before, I'm not here to promote the T&TT, but still, this will be the next TTD (if Chris will not wake up). Of course, the game in this stage got some problems, but if Peter will do what is on his "Missing features" list, the game will be a lot better than existing TTD. And for people who don't know, I love TTD, so please do not post stupid comments. This is just observation as I see it. Till now, I didn't like the blockiness of 3D engines. But, with the new generation of graphics cards and very powerfull CPU is time to change.
Just my 2 cents...
Here is the link to the German page with link to missing features.

We're not like most gaming communities where they start flaming wars over which is the best game
Any stupid comments will be dealt with

Perhaps in time T&TT will get a separate forum here, who knows ?

Why not? But call the game with its real name...I think... 3DTT

PS...can someone translate into Italian...oh well...also English...the faqs ( http://way-x.got-game.org/faq.htm )?

Thanks Spiff. As you know, so many got their fingers faster than their brain.

Marco, go to Google and download and install the Google search bar for your browser. Then, if you right click on text, you will have option in the menu "Translate page". It's not always "English English", but most the time you will figure the meanings.
