3D train model for an OpenGL demo

3D train model for an OpenGL demo

Someone has a good looking 3D train model to let it to me?
I'm trying to do a little demo to see how OpenGL graphics would do with Alltaken renders...

This, is what I've done so far... Now I need something that looks nice...

you could just apply a texture onto the block you have now as an alternative

yo oboka, perhaps try doing it on http://doug.mudpuddle.co.nz/albums/ottdwip/rounded3.jpg

this will be more likely as a track layout for a future ottd.

Ok, I'm trying with it, and certainly I'm having better results...
BTW, what is the radius of the curve you are using? I've been trying some values (1.5 times the cell side, 2 times... ) but doesn't fit. May it be the diagonal lenght of a cell?

its not actually a perfect radius, it is a beziers curve with 3 control points.

its impossible to achieve a perfect radius when going from mid tile through corner, to mid tile again. it unfortunatly doesn't add up he he he.
