[RELEASE] Dutch Fantasy

Post by Landquart »

Since I find realism more important than geographical correctness, I made a dutch map based on how I see the Netherlands. Just fantasy, although some aspects may look familiar :D
IMPORTANT: Because of potential problems with modded files, I did not include the dutch trainset on purpose. Put the scenario-file in your scenario-folder or the landscape-file in your landscape-folder and add the dutch trainset. Without it it wouldn't be half the fun!!!
I think the only modded file is still the earth-slope file, be sure to have it also! Thank you in advance for your comments.

to scs

Post by Landquart »

To scs: nice work! I look forward to it. My only problem with a map of the Netherlands is that the distances are not realistic. Well, they never are realistic in Locomotion, but I would prefer a smaller part of the Netherlands. I would play the Randstad-scenario, if there weren't that much of mountains in the landscape :? That is why I made "Dutch Fantasy". No matter for me that is not geographical realistic, as long as the distances are pretty realistic and the landscape is flat, with dunes and dikes, rivers and "polders". Maybe you like to give your comment, I hope you are able to load it.

Missing DAT's ZIP1 + ZIP2

Post by Landquart »

I compared my ObjectData-folder with the standard ObjectData-folder, and added all the missing DAT's in a zip file. In order to work "Dutch Fantasy" properly, you need the Missing DATs file to be packed out in your ObjectData-folder. This also works for "Swiss Fantasy". I tested this and now it is working fine.

ZIP 6 + ZIP 7

I am sorry for reposting modded files, but I did not see any other way to make my scenario's work.
