Build two engines, drag one engine behind the other. I think you need to press the CTRL key while doing so.

It's just getting a bit irritating that
1. they do not even try it. Because, hell, how difficult can it be to drag a wagon behind another wagon?
2. with a real multiheaded train both engines are bought
3. it seems impossible to use the search

OMG that was difficult!!

. Found 'newgrf and multihead', 'Building multiheaded trains'. Or just search "multihead". Wow!!! That really requires magic skills no?

It's easier to hit New Topic and type one sentence than hit search, type in a search, read through irrelavant posts, to find what you want.
