[RELEASE] Swiss Fantasy 3

Post by Landquart »

Release Swiss Fantasy 3: I removed some vehicle mods, but kept the slopes, the no-break-down-mod, the airport-mod and the industry-station-mod. I also added industries.

Herewith my Dutch interpretation of the Swiss landscape. The alternative name could therefore have been "In the Dutch mountains" :) I hope someone will enjoy it, I sure will! For who is curious, the village "Verkehrshaus Luzenau" is ment to create a transport museum in the game.

BIG mountains!

Had to get it, just because you'd posted it about an hour before, and that made me first.

I've got Clifftop Climb to finish (or abandon in disgust - almost did that to Vache and Vineyards). This looks a definite for next. I must be a sucker for punishment :-)

How many AIs? Is it a 1900 start with $10000? Any other mods (e.g. slopes) required?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for downloading it. You need the slopes, and I put all the existing modded vehicles in it, but I do not know if it is required to have them also to play the scenario??? As you can see, you have three area's ideal to build subways under, many villages that only can be reached by narrow track, and a long river to build realistic tracks along it. Have fun!

I'm missing a mod somwhere. Here's what I've got:

21st Century, includes MagLev
Class 42 Warship
E69 253
High Speed Mail Cars
LMS Express Passenger Carriage
Mars
New Girder Bridge
Steve's Slopes
Tramwagon
Turbotrain
US Generation 2 Vehicles

Now, what else do I need?

The solution

Post by Landquart »

Look for the solution in topic "The Netherlands". Just download the missing DAT's in your ObjectData-folder.

This is a fun map to learn on, lots of possibilities. I finished the goal by only hauling passengers and mail around the lake. Next time I'll try to build in the mountains.

Love the screenies Landquart, giving me ideas for my future expansions.

Now, as you requested, my screenies. Note how I cleverly connected all the towns in the flat areas around the lake. Although I must admit I'm not quite the genious that these screenies might lead you to believe. In the course of "improving" my layout, I actually wrecked 6 trains in 15 years. I bet that's some kind of record.

But, in the end I've got 5 trains running between Luzenau and Limmstadt with no problems at all, and one of them also serves the famous resort town Swatch 8)
