[Developing] Double Decker Carriege

Post by Horse »

This is the first time i,am working with a 3D editor.
I,am working on a Double decker Carriege.
On the moment it is not a model of real world, but maybe can somebody tell me a train that a little bit seems on it.

Or other tips are welcome becouse i have never worked earlier with 3D applications.

Looks like a good start to me. I was thinking if giving modeling a try when I get home tonight. Seems like A LOT of hard work though

Redo the wheels...and add some stuff like theres in real life between the wheels..their not just stuck under the carriage. and the wheels are not just cylinders.. In general, the model needs to be A LOT better.

He's offering constructive advice. He's not saying "omg it sucks!".

Bogies (trucks, the wheels) are seperate sprites in Locomotion, so you don't need to include them in the model. In fact, you can probably just swipe the bogies off another carriage - That's what I did with my express carriage, for the time being at least.

You are right this model seems a little bit stupid.

I thought in the game it is so small you do not see all the details.
But i must make a lot of changes before i get a realistic model.
even the colors are not finisched yet.
