I been gathering up Pics of Steam era Buildings for making a Engine maintance style station. so far the only coal tripple I can get a good pic of is one of the only ones still in the US. but they got every thing there round house sanding tower oil house etc. when I get up in the morning Im gona make some better ones then my crappy little water tower. I did however redo it a bit.
I dont have any idea how to do codeing yet but Im gona try and cross that bridge when I get there. any how, got any comments on what to de about this so far?

SHould I use thus style or the wooden watering tower style?

You can make that one a little smaller, and it can appear in the 1950s. Before then, use a wooden water tower.

norfolksouthern, I'm wondering about your coal unloading station. It only allows you to do two adjacent tracks, and when you do, it puts a separate building and unloading conveyor next to each track. I don't think that's the way it would really be. I think you'd have only one building and unloading conveyor at the edge of the yard, and all the dumping areas would be in a row across however many tracks there were, without limit, aligned with the control building. Because underground, where you can't see, there'd be a conveyor perpendicular to the tracks, carrying the coal over to the control building and diagonal lifting conveyor. That way, you could have more tracks in the station, and it would look better also. Minor change.

I'd like to see your wood handling stations, at least in draft form or as a sketch.

No, more that the whole forums went silent, because they were broken. They're back now.

The log stations have this problem, but I couldn't find any newer version than 9/9/2004... Is there any further progress? I'd really like to see more advance in this stations set, because they are quite good.
It's the windows version, working with the latest patch

Yes, I want a new version too. And I know the author is still around, he's active in the LoMo area. Try and PM him, why don't you? I did some weeks back and didn't get an answer, but maybe popular demand will bring him back.

That was fixed in a newer release. Don't know where you can find it however

Edit: Sorry the date is the same as yours, but my stations do not appear like that. I do remember that they use to. :?

Well, in that case, I must say that organization is a mess, there is no clear link even to download the industry stations themselves... with every update a new post in this thread should lead you to the download.

The author has a link to his homepage, but it's the september release what you find there.

Those are the stations that come with the US set, aren't they? If so, http://www.as-st.com/ttd/newusa/download.html

How odd, indeed, that's the file, but the most recent is from 9/sep...

There might be a conflict with some other graphic set, is that possible? I also recall that earlier they used to work normally...

JCIndSta does not contain a wood station. SilverLine, however, does. A very cursory check shows that my version appears to work, and it can be downloaded over here.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

The Silver Line stations were famously buggy. Did that get fixed?

It was a bug in the patch, not the .grf file.
