international airport - planes landing/taking off wrong way

Okay, this is a little petty, and I wasn't sure where to put it.

On the largest airport, the international one.

The planes landing land from left to right on the bottom runway. The planes that are taking off take off from right to left on the top runway. This runway usage would never actually happen at a real airport - all planes would be landing and taking off in the same direction due to the wind. Even when there is calm wind you would rarely rarely get opposing traffic, it plays hell with the approach controllers.

Anyways, just something that I noticed that was 'wrong' to me.
