Another in-progress shot. (Photoshopped) Here we see a scene on the Canadian Pacific. The year is 1955 and CPR has just taken delivery of the new stainless steel passenger cars for the "Canadian". Passengers travel through some of the most beautiful scenery on the continent and can see out the windows of the dome cars. Heading up the consist is a smart looking A-B-A set of F-units.

Heading the other way is a T1c Class 'Selkirk'. These big 2-10-4's hoisted the 'Canadian' and her sister train the "Dominion" over the mountains with the Hudsons. Now, she's been bumped to freight service and soon will join her unstreamlined sisters in the deadline, waiting to be scrapped.

F7A-unit is a semi=repaint of mnorman's for the USSet (nose and cab is mainly what was used :) )

Not sure if I'm going to include the TEE cars or not, seeing as how the only place they were used was the Ontario Northland and in later years were hauled by F7's.

Gotta hoist this one up from the depths and actually show some progress on spritesets, not just photoshopped pictures 8) Work's progressing on the USSet rather nicely, so I think I can take a few days here and there to work on my baby.

Below are my F40PH-2 from the USSet in VIA Rail livery. Also below is most of an LRC trainset. I just need to draw the other 4 views for the Power Car. I'd like to release it as either an add-on or a supplement to the USSet but only for the arctic climate (seems the only one that fits it ;) ) Thing is, I'd need to keep most of the freight cars, but replace a few of the coaches and all of the steamers.

Ahhh well... Work continues. I'm playing around with the .nfo format and may actually release the LRC as a test.

I'd think the Canadian set would want to be a separate set, but using many of the freight cars from the US set and some of the loco liveries perhaps. I know I wouldn't mind, and I doubt the artists would if you asked first and credited everything.

Of course, but since most of the freight cars are mine anyway...lol. As I said, it's a work in progress, if I need to repaint, I'll get permission first, it's as simple as that.

Insofar as my permission is needed for anything, you have it.

Yes, you ought to do that, it will save you time.

You will need the Excel stats files too as they have lots of Oracle's calculations in them.

Here's a GF6C in BCRail colours. Note, it is derived from my F40PH with my SD40-2 chassis... (Just covering my ass ;) )

Is there a table as to what needs to be drawn? I would love to contribute to this project, if the BR set doesn't need me.

CyberBoy, if you're looking for work, there's a few things yet to be done in the Japanset.

No table as of yet

As far as the RDC in BC-Rail, not too sure about it, possibly.

On another note, here's a broadside of a CP Rail SD40-2

Ohh, Dan - very nice! Now if the damn Muskrats would get out of my dugout, I'd be happy.

Have you got all of your liveries decided yet? I was thinking maybe for some variety we could have the Northern Alberta Railway, the Ontario Northland Railway, and possibly the Great Northern Railway. Here's an ALCO RS-1 in GNR colors.

Well, GN wasn't really a Canadian road. As far as NAR goes, I may have the GMD1 in NAR colours. Seeing as all they had were GP7's, GMD1's and 4 SD28-2's, not sure what else I'd paint (The geep maybe?)

Ontario Northland's a possibility as well, maybe for the RS3's and F7's. SD40-2's maybe as well, but I'm thinking at least 2 variants on CN and CP liveries at the moment... niot sure.

Nope, only a couple of small spurs stretched into Canada. Read the brief GN History here. The brains behind the GN However, was a Canuck. James J. Hill was born in Rockwood, Ontario. A Biography of him is here

We'll see, I need to get the ambition to do up a table. I'll concentrate on it more after I finish my stuff for the USSet.
