Passenger Services

Instead of when train drops it passengers, that all go *poof*, but about 25-10% load at the station they were unloaded and take a other train. Like switching trains to get to other city.

how would you make sure that they don't take a train back to where they came from?

My Coding experience is next to nothing, i only modified few lines of Homeworld 1 source code but havent compiled to see the changes yeat. :lol:

Not to sound like a money hungry transport tycoon here, but why do we care if the passenger dosnt just take a round trip on the train?

Once they have hopped on the vech we should have charged for the ticket, the hardest part would be determining how far the specfific passenger has gone so we can charge them for it - and this is proberly already done for each truck and it could be based on a truck dosnt fill up if another towns passengers are still on it (note that the passengers should be moved into the same truck(s) if they occpt more than one), if the amount of passengers on that truck is lower than a certian amount then they are basically forced off the train to make room for more.

The code to modify that shouldnt be too hard right? Just change the code at the drop off to say drop everything but 10% of the train, move the remaining cargo/passengers to the first availble trucks and start the original fill code.

With OpenTTD I doubt it actually treats each unit of cargo induvidually, it probably just does something like "there are x units on truck y".
