OpenTTD 0.3.2.1 doesn't start

At first, i have installed the Original TTD and then OpenTTD 0.3.2.1 , but when i start the game, i see this Message:

But TTD himself, runs great.
Where's the problem, that OpenTTD doesn't start?

I un-, and reinstall both games, but OpenTTD doesn't start

Are you sure you used the nightly build? Because it is supposed to give an error message, eg 'assert' before crashing.

i'm sure, i have downloading the OTTD-win32-nightly_build.zip

Same problem here . 0.3.2.1 and the nightly build behave in exactly the same way. The game window is shown for a fraction of a second and then the game crashes. Works great on my AthlonXP in WinXP and Linux, the problem only occurs on the other system:

Pentium Pro 200
64MB RAM
Matrox Millenium 1
Soundblaster Vibra something
Win98, DirectX 9, all drivers are the most recent versions

Problem solved!
I just tried the command line options, and disabling music by starting the game with "openttd -m null" made ist work. Still strange, though, because the music plays fine in the original (sounds crappy as hell, though), and it doesn't matter if the music files are there or not, openttd will crash without the command line option.
