In all colors

In the game you can choose whether you'd like to play with vehicles displaying the original paintwork or with vehicles in company colors. This Austrian Taurus shows all the paints that are on offer.

As in the previous week, we present a vehicle in all the different possible paint coats. This time it's a less well-known American locomotive.

Boeing 707 Cargo

The first big freight plane in the game is the Boeing 707. In comparison with trains, this cargo plane has only limited capacity, but its speed more than makes up for this.

Aerospatiale 332 Superpuma

Helicopters can be used for various transport needs. Their capacity for transporting passengers is rather limited, but here's a hot tip: how about using them for transporting mail?

Now this is interesting...

If you look back through this topic you will find a picture of Concorde with it's real name.

If you go to http://www.transportgiant.com and look down the Vehicles page, you will find a picture of "Grancorde".

Looks like we won't be getting stuff with real names after all :(

Well egelkraut said something something about easily changeable names.

Besides, look at the links to the pics, they are still all there, eg /leyland.htm and not heyland.

Valvo semi-trailer
If you want to use trucks, carefully consider their purpose and the goods you need them for before rushing off to buy one. If you get the wrong one, you cannot simply exchange bodies.
There are dry-bulk containers, tanker bodies, stake bodies and box bodies. Most mineral resources, and also products like corn, are transported in dry-bulk containers. If you want to transport wood or steel, you will need stake bodies. For liquid goods you will need tanker bodies of course, while all other products are taken across the country in box bodies.
From 1987 this modern semi-trailer is available in all four different versions.
