Cursor speed

Post by Gorre »

I would like to change my cursor sensitivity.
I´m playing OTTD in 1280^1024 and I think my mouse is very lazy, because it takes it a long time from one corner to another.

start -> settings -> control panel -> Mouse -> Pointer Options -> Motion -> select a cursor speed -> make it faster

No, no, no :]
I meant ingame speed, in Windows, it runs well, but ingame is much slower...i think.

If i'm not worng DirectX use direct acess to mice bypassing windows' settings. Therefore it is also a good sugestion to add the opotunity to swap the mouse buttons.

By the way, the mouse speed suggestion, I'll might add it to my game.

OpenTTD doesn't use DirectX (except for the optional-but-default DirectMusic)

I'm running OpenTTD on Linux and I noticed - the mouse gets lazy, when you change to fullscreen. Cursorspeed is fine in windowed, but in Fullscreen it takes like ages to cross the screen. Really annoying when you are playing on a laptop, using only the touchpad.

Probably SDL also overides system settings. I'll test home.
