I think it will be the best! because all other CS games are very good too.
I heard the stories that they tell of how they labored for this company which sold it's soul to hell

I vote "nice" cos there's no way it'll be WORSE than TTD purely because it's got features in it that we had to wait until TTDPatch came along to get.

And you can fit two concordes in a tram.. so? You can't make everything in these games in proper scales.. Maps the size of countries and cities with thousands of houses? Nope

I'm sure it will be a great game, but the posted screenshots didn't really have a lot going for them. So I voted 'donnu, we'll see..'.

Let's hope he makes a good game. There have been a lot of disappointments in the recent years.
Just look at XCOM: TFTD, one of the best games ever (also). UFO: Aftermath tried to be a remake, how hard the developers said it won't be. Fans weren't satisfied cause the game wasn't like they expected, it was worse. Let's hope CS won't make this mistake.

That lousy jew better do his job right :P

Yes, we'll have to wait and see. But I think I (and most people here) will almost certainly buy it whether it's mediocre or great.
I just hope (and expect) that those graphics will improve before release...

To finish the sentence, I say...
Locomotion will be:

A worthy successor to TTD.

Haha, I voted; the best!

I find it strange that some people here don't seem to be too happy with Locomotion... Why are you doing that? I mean, Chris Saywer can't give a f*** about 100 addicted TTD'ers, while there are a few million potential mainstream buyers out there?

I vote that it will be the best.

To those people who are voting "worse than TTD":

There will always be something is this game that you do not like compared to TTD. Just like there were people in 1994 who refused to say TT was better than Railroad Tycoon because they were used to that game. After all it is Chris Sawyer we are talking about - and he has been working on improving TT since it was released. If someone is willing to devote that much time and effort on one thing (mainly by himself), chances are it's going to be pretty good. Maybe it would be fairer to say "worse than TTD + Patch"?

I think, sadly, DS touches a very nasty point here: We are very used to all the features of the Patch, and most of them will probably NOT be in LoMo, due to the simple approach. (which I dislike, how can a game be simpler then TTD?)
I think that if only pre-signals will be part of LoMo (of the Patch features), we should be very happy.

You can clearly see signals in screenshot 3, so it's about time you start to expect them Zooz.

I'm not saying it will be good or bad.

I'd prefer to wait until I have played the game before I lay a judgement on it. Ofcourse it will be better than TTD becasue 1 you will have the ability to rotate the map. and trains do not have 45 degree sharp turns in the track. They are curves and locomotion has that.

This will proberly turn into the agument that happened when RCT2 came out. People said that was a waste of time but it went to #1 on the charts.

Only complain if you can make a better game. I know how programmers feel. You can't change something near the end as you will have to change other things nd then that takes more time. Let Chris release the game then we will see what it is like.
