In the other topic you said you had TTD. And you also said you could just buy a new one. If you lost it, buy a new one if you want it back so bad ! :?

I liked it because of the steam locos. In fact, I have implemented most of them in TTD. (Including Chippie)

Although TTD is better, because I still have the TTO CD with me, It's more portable. And as long as my relatives aren't willing to upgrade their computers to more advanced models (with win2K/XP), I have a place to play TT at anyone's house.

Yaaay.

I liked TTO as well when I played it, but as soon as I got TTD, I really didn't look back, as it was so much better in my opinion. :D

More like catergory digger, really... Not much activity in the TTO catagory...

And for this reason I don't really care if it was dug up... In the end, it was still on this page ^^.

Hey, better to keep using an existing topic and keep it active rather than have it fade into obscurity and have duplicates show up, right? :)

Digging topics up in the TTO section isn't important... After all, it's nice to see some activity here...

I like TTD better then TTO (is this English as it should be??), but the grass of the temperate climate in TTO rules over TTD. My opinion about bigger cities is now out-dated... so it seems we came to a point where TTO can rest in peace...

Amen

How can you even consider returning to TTO ?
I would miss too many new features :)

Hmm I sometimes play TTO but I can't get any big networks with it... I believe the trick was having like... 10 tracks next to each other with the ability to switch tracks every x number of cells, but I couldn't get that working :(

I remember that the one thing that threw me off when playing TTD for the first time after playing TTO for so long was the farmland. I didn't know it cost extra to place on the farmland (thinking it was just for show) and I found myself becoming bankrupt incredibly quickly :D

The other changes in the game were well worth me persevering with it, however :D

I did once on my home PC...
I found it almost totally unplayable due to the very basic signalling

I played unpatched TTD then tried TTO it wasent that hard to play but the signalling was very basic. Then I got the patch and it would be somewhat difficult to go back to TTO (or even unpatched TTD :) )but not that difficult because I do play them both every once in a while.

I love playing TTO! Maybe because I'm very conservativ but there is something diffrent playing it ( Not only easy railway network connection !). This one who started playing TT with deluxe version can't understand what someone see in TTO.

TT + World Editor > TTD
TT + World Editor = TTD + TTDPatch

I think that TTO has something atrractive, that TTD doesnt have ;) I'm only speaking about PC version, PSX is "a bit" different, Saturn - I couldn't emulate it :(

this is completly wrong
if you want to compare them then it could be like that:
TT + World Editor = TTD
(TT + World Editor)*1000000 < TTD + TTDPatch
 and I am sure most of people will agree with me
what are you looking at? it's a signature!
