pre-alpha decouple
In the morning, I'll upload the source code and patch the vanilla version of the game.
It's a development version where I test new ideas, you'll see what happens after the Decouple.
Thank you Spaceone for the blueprint.
Load the save will download the required grf.

You cannot post binaries without posting the source (or making it available another way.)
He's like, some kind of OpenTTD developer.

Decouple is unfinished, and I do not want you to use the code until it is completed. It is a showcase of my work, and I am still actively working on it every day. I will port the clean, standalone version of decouple to Vanilla 16 myself; I don't need any help with that. I don't want my unfinished work circulating on the internet without a pre-alpha tag

windows EXE

SOURCE

Station and depot commands are already working. Two consecutive commands at the same station will be executed at the same platform, so it will be possible to shunt without departing to a waypoint and back. Right now, I'm fine-tuning the new platform waypoints, which will help define more precisely from which platform the wagons should be coupled . That useful when you are building a train set and the locomotive couples the wagons it just decoupled, having to guide itself through the switches to the next loaded ones. Station platform waypoints have a construction icon next to the regular waypoints. Turn off breakdowns and the renewal of old vehicles, in progress

A new decouple showcase is here. For more info load attached savegame.

Friendly guidance :) That's just not how GPL works. You're distributing binaries, you have to provide the source on request. Please provide the source in a reasonable time frame. Thanks.

The thread is about my decouple, and they can write this in a private message, or in a thread where the topic is what they are writing about.

I've been testing various ways to connect trains. Connecting two trains with a locomotive (EMU) causes an error. For those interested, I've included various uses for this patch in the attached file.

Decouple means uncoupling trains into individual cars; you are looking for bugs in the coupling of two trains in a pre-alpha version. Nobody said anything about my uncoupling wagons. Furthermore, I was blocked from deleting the old version. I can't delete the entire thread, I can't delete individual off-topic posts, and now I'm not even allowed to edit my posts when I want to delete the old version and upload a new one.

New orders for automatic shunting.
With just a few commands, you can build long lines of
wagons.
-One-touch, one-click automated shunting of wagons
from platforms into the depot by a locomotive that
autonomously detects and tows broken
or wrecked trains.
-Hauling wagons out of the depot and returning them
back to the depot
-New routing for station platforms
-Horn command : )

I will not upload the new version 3 here until I am allowed to delete the old one.

I'm intensively testing the possibilities of using wagon coupling. It works well, allowing for the creation of a group train consisting of different types of wagons. The biggest challenge is dividing the train into individual groups traveling to different destinations in a timely manner. As a railway employee, I see great potential in this.
